It is incumbent on you to check the detailed wording and any underlying assumptions on which these SLA promises are based, to ensure they are commercially (and legally) useful.
For example, in the case of an accounts/billing system or an electronic trading system where the system is only required for a specific period, it may be possible – by defining the guaranteed uptimes in a particular way – that the ASP will not be in breach of this guarantee even though the system is not available for all of the crucial period.
